Bullet Journal Set-Up: August

Summer is almost over and I’m so disappointed yet somewhat excited. I feel like I didn’t do anything, but I’m hoping fall will bring some kind of normality. Today I’m sharing with you my bullet journal set-up for this month. I decided to go with a light bulb theme. I feel like I wasn’t very creative…I did the same basic layout for mostly everything, but I still like how it turned out.

+ Cover Page

A more simple cover page this month, but I did have a lot of fun doing a gradient handlettering font this month. In the past, I have usually done a fake calligraphy font just using a regular pen, but I like this much better.

+ Monthly Spread

In last month’s bullet journal set-up, I tried making separate little boxes with colored shadows. I liked how it turned out a lot, so I decided to do it again. I think I’ll be using that basic style from now on.

+ Ideal Day

When I first did an ideal day page a while ago, I thought I’d only have to do it once. But now every month I feel like I’m constantly changing it so here it is again. The basic style is the same every month, but this month I just added a few hanging light bulbs so it would fit in.

+ Habit Tracker

I probably should have added something else at the bottom because there’s so much empty space, but I think it still turned out alright.

+ Playlist

I like doing the playlist page because then I can look back and see when I discovered all of the songs I’m now in love with.

+ Mood Tracker

For my mood tracker this month I decided to do a lot of hanging light bulbs that I could color in.

+ Weekly Spread

I finally decided to bring back my weekly spread after several months. Things are finally picking up again so I actually have activities I can jot down. I decided to keep it very simple because I had about four of them to do.

+ What is your bullet journal theme this month?

+ Is everything starting to pick up for you as well?
